if you are hand washing, use water at 30⁰C or below and do not soak for more than 5 minutes. add a tbs of white vinegar to the rinse process to preserve shine and finish with a clean water rinse.

Is silk different than satin?

Silk is a natural fiber from silkworms, renowned for its softness, breathability, and radiant sheen, creating a luxurious feel against the skin.

Satin, however, refers to a weaving technique and is usually made from polyester. Many confuse satin for silk, but satin carries more disadvantages than benefits. chemicals in polyesters can be harsh on the skin and hair, especially with prolonged use. due to its absorbent and heat-trapping properties, satin pulls water and oils from skin and hair, leaving you with more frizz, dryness and breakage, and promotes bacterial and allergen growth.
